I attended a Leadership Youth Summit with Faizan Syed. It was super well thought out, with multiple aspects including debate and public speaking. The program was diverse and entertaining, and I learned a lot, public speaking skills as well as writing skills. I would definitely recommend this to others, as I had a lot of fun while still gaining substantial knowledge. Faizan Syed was really entertaining and was able to cater to whatever questions we had. 10/10.

I took an extremely enjoyable debate course with IYL, as well as a one-day debate class, and I also volunteered for IYL. No matter what I did with IYL, it was always a lot of fun and helped me meet new people with similar interests. Everything I participated in taught me how to speak more confidently in front of others, how to persuade effectively, how to argue better, and how to structure my arguments and speeches more clearly. It also significantly helped me in my speech and English classes at school. Additionally, the director, Br. Faizan Syed, was incredibly nice and fun to work with... Our Story
We envision a world where young Muslim leaders are at the forefront of positive change, championing justice, equity, and compassion. IYL provides three unique opportunities for young Muslim leaders:
- An online & in-person leadership training program to teach essential leadership skills.
- A nationwide social community through our app, where students can connect, engage, and collaborate on impactful projects.
- Mentorship, certificates, and recommendation letters to help build resumes, gain valuable experience, and receive personalized coaching.
Inspiring Young Leaders was founded by Director Faizan Syed, a lifelong civil rights activist, political thought leader, youth coach, and serial entrepreneur for good. Formerly the Director of CAIR in Missouri and Texas, and Co-Founder of A Continuous Charity, Director Syed is deeply passionate about empowering young Muslims to become future leaders.
